Gesha Fermented Coffee Beans

The Gesha is already one of the world's most coveted and exotic coffee varieties — ancient, rare, and revered by specialty roasters for its unmatched aromatic complexity. Now imagine that extraordinary variety taken through Extended Fermentation and Washed processing, a technique that strips away everything but pure, complex and clean flavour. The result is something truly exceptional.

Sourced directly from Liliana Caballero at Hacienda Casablanca in the Santander highlands of Colombia, at 1,550 metres above sea level, this is genuine direct trade — transparent, traceable, and rooted in a deep long-term partnership with the producer. No middlemen. No compromises.

The extended fermentation unlocks the Gesha's full expressive potential, while the washed process delivers a cup of remarkable clarity and precision. Expect a delicate floral fragrance that fills the room before the first sip, followed by bright, juicy pineapple acidity and a long, luxurious finish of maple syrup sweetness — elegant, complex, and utterly captivating.

Locally roasted in small batches in-house at our Adelaide roastery on a Medium-Light Omni-Roast profile, this Gesha is at its most spectacular as a filter or cold brew, though it delivers a stunning espresso and long black for those who seek it.

Gesha is rare. Fermented Gesha at this level of quality is rarer still.
